Interested in taking the exam, but your institution cannot help you out with financial assistance? Then apply for the Certification Exam Scholarship, which will reimburse the cost of the exam upon successful completion (a passing score) of either the CPMSM or the CPCS Examination.

NAMSS offers two certification programs that provide a proficiency benchmark for healthcare organizations. The Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM) and the Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) credentials are awarded to successful certificants who have completed educational components and testing that include: principles of credentialing/recredentialing; accreditation standards; legal principles of credentialing; healthcare definitions; management of information; principles of hospital and managed care organizations; and administration and management.
